It's almost 3 years since I started trading these rule-based strategies through the algo-trading tool.

Like all others, I too was following those traditional fix-stop loss-type strategies.

But as you know, that market is changing continuously. Whatever we were following in the past, may not work in the future. That's why we need to optimise our strategies too based on the current market scenarios.

I too optimised my strategies in the last 3 years many times and that helped me in positive return in the last 2 years.

But in 2024, few things have changed.

Although the market is following its nature that it consolidation 70% time, but fluctuations are so huge that triggered our stoploss on both sides.

In short, despite range-bound activities, we are losing so much on both sides.

So to handle this situation, I monitored the market very closely for almost 6 months and then optimised my strategies in such a way that we could neutralize these high fluctuations and keep our trades running by doing some adjustments through "Delite" & "Ranger" strategies.

Now we don't follow fix-stop-loss. We have other parameters to manage or risk.
